A name synonymous with selling curtains in Scotland is 'John Aird'. The Ayrshire business has been selling textiles to the retail trade since 1896. Still a family run concern, they have a long-standing reputation for being knowledgeable and passionate about curtains. More recently they took the step of opening up an online arm to supply the public with quality textile products and accessories at great prices.

After receiving one of our free site appraisals, in August they tasked Big Red with re-skinning their 'Curtains Direct 2 U' site, designing a new 'brand' for them. The following was all 'pulled together' (excuse the pun) within one month of our first meeting.

And here are the results on the same platform with their new logo and page design in place. They now have a much more engaging website that users are interacting with. This is backed up with an almost instant drop in their 'bounce rate', and more importantly, a large increase in the conversion rate of the site. This means that a larger percentage of those who visit www.curtainsdirect2u.co.uk are making a purchase.

SEO Support

In order to take things on even further for the client, Big Red are supporting the site with an ongoing SEO programme. This will keep increasing the traffic to the site and get users making more purchases on a more regular basis - and John Aird's traditionally good customer service will mean that they are also more likely to be return customers.
