‘Content is king’. I know it sounds
cheesy, but it’s true. Producing quality content for your website will
completely change the way it is viewed by both potential and existing
consumers. Most businesses know the importance of content but, for most,
building up a strategy can seem overwhelming and this can result in a lack of
progress. Fortunately, we can help.

Previous Content
Before you start to build up any
sort of new content marketing strategy, it is important to look at any previous
content you have produced and the success or failures it has produced. If you
have a certain topic that did particularly well via your social media platforms
or on your website, then be sure to see if there are any other ways you can
expand upon this. It was successful, and for good reason, so don’t pass up on
any opportunities to replicate this. Similarly, if you have a subject that may
have received negative feedback, or just none at all, think about why this may
have been. Ensure that what you are producing content for is relevant to your
followers and can provide them with helpful, appropriate knowledge.
Current Affairs
Current affairs are a great place
to start when looking to produce content as majority of your audience will take
interest in viral news. Rather than just quote the news article, offer an
expert view into what the article is about and how the information could be
helpful to your target audience.
Passion
What will speak most effectively to
your audience will be your passion and authenticity. If you create content
around what you know, and what interests you, then this will naturally speak to
your followers and entice them in. Using your knowledge as inspiration for your
content is a great way to draw in potential customers to your website, where
you can convert them into a valuable lead.
