Of course you want it to look world-class.
We are often told by a client “Look at that – that is how we want to look” and we are shown a market leading competitor site using top-notch professional photography…and then we are sent a selection of images taken by the Marketing Manager on his or her iPhone or SLR to work with.
That may be fine for Facebook, but it is definitely NOT fine for your website.

And don’t forget to optimise all of the images so that they load fast and contain ALT tags for search engine optimisation. Slow loading images are the bane of mobiles and can attract penalties from Google.
